The Cape May Lighthouse was designed by First Lieutenant
George Meade(future Commander of the Army of the Potomac),
in 1859. This 157 foot structure is visible for 24 miles
at sea. MPG was commissioned to complete three exterior
restoration projects on this active lighthouse that had
endured over 100 years of harsh seas and severe weather.
MPG’s architectural and structural revitalization
of this Southern New Jersey Landmark updated this beacon
of safety to the 21st century. |
