Allaire State Park General Store

The Allaire State Park General store is a four-story brick building that was built in 1835.  The original store housed the apothecary, post office, butcher shop and furniture store for the village of Allaire.  Today, only the street level is open to the public and quarters a museum and gift shop.  In 2003, MPG, as the General Contractor and masonry contractor, executed the following masonry/general restoration project: Replace/rebuild spalled/cracked brick on all exterior walls; spot brick point, install a new standing seam metal roof, repair/replace wood window sashes, frames and doors, caulk, paint, epoxy patch sills, wood Dutchman repairs and shore and rebuild a portion of the front entrance.
