Packer Memorial Chapel at Lehigh University - Bethlehem, PA

Packer Memorial Chapel
Packer Memorial Chapel is a Victorian Gothic building accented with a 125 foot spire rising majestically from its central location on the Lehigh University campus. This non-denominational church was designed by Addison Hutton in 1877 and was added to the National Historic Register in 1979. MPG’s skilled craftsmen executed the exterior structural restoration of this historic chapel. MPG also solved unique project challenges that included a complex scaffolding requirement. The completed Packer Chapel restoration project won the 2003 Historic Preservation Award from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in partnership with Preservation Pennsylvania.
