The Church of the Holy Angels, Trenton, NJ was built
in 1928. On March 3, 2003, a piece of the north façade
cornice fell from the wall. Under the direction of consulting
engineers, Klein and Hoffman, MPG completed the emergency
structural stabilization of the stone face and cast concrete
ornamentation on the north façade of the church.
Subsequently, MPG completed these additional repairs:
Rebuild a north gable stone wall with replacement of the
cast stone cornice elements, removal of a 1950 vintage
concrete portico addition from the church, cleaning of
the south parapet and stone restoration of the roof coping’s
gables. |
