The Ninth Street (North) Gate at Georgian Court College
is a magnificent marble and terra cotta archway that
serves as the main entrance to the college. A significant
portion of the terra cotta arch was failing and required
replacement. Prior to the removal of the damaged sections,
MPG masons installed shoring to maintain the structural
integrity of the archway. MPG craftsmen then carefully
dismantled the existing terra cotta. Molds were made
for the replacement process. The new terra cotta was
fabricated by Boston Valley Terra Cotta and installed
by MPG. The
project was completed on-time for the opening of school
in 2003. |
