The Philadelphia Medical Examiners Office building
is a historically certified structure owned and operated
by the city of Philadelphia. It houses the city’s
Medical Examiner Department which handles approximately
6000 reported cases of death annually. MPG completed
an extensive restoration of the exterior masonry while
the facility remained operational. All work was performed
under the guidelines for the restoration of historic
masonry structures. This project included, but was not
limited
to: Structural rebuilds, repointing, caulking, cleaning
and replacement of specific masonry units. |
