The Cumberland County Courthouse was constructed in
1909 and is located in Bridgeton, NJ. MPG was selected
for a project that involved the restoration of the clock
tower that sat approximately 160 feet above street level.
MPG was pre-qualified as the general contractor for the
project by the architectural firm of Watson and Henry
Associates. MPG was determined to be the lowest responsible
bidder. The project involved the raising of the approximately
22 ton clock tower and installing a new structural steel
framework and the lowering and securing of the tower to
the new support systems. Other work performed on the project
included extensive carpentry repairs, painting, electrical
and masonry repairs. The courthouse remained open during
the length of the project. |
