Ocean City City Hall is an 88 year old brick and terra
cotta building that is listed on the New Jersey Historic
Register. The architectural firm of Watson and Henry Associates
designed the south façade restoration and MPG was
selected to execute the project as the general contractor
and masonry specialist. The project was administered by
the New Jersey Historic Trust, the Department of Environmental
Protection, the Division of Parks and Forestry and the
State of New Jersey. The extensive restoration of the
south façade included the complete demolition,
then development and reconstruction of the terra cotta
balcony. Brick, stone and terra cotta patching improved
this building both aesthetically and structurally, while
maintaining its historic integrity. |
