The Grant Avenue Bridge is an excellent
example of this region’s state and local efforts
to restore their bridges. We are proud of our craftsman.
They are as careful in their approach to these common
city bridges as they are with the regions historic bridges.
MPG’s scope of work on this bridge included cutting
and setting of existing sandstones as a facing on the
new reinforced concrete bridge seat and the cleaning
and re-pointing of the masonry joints in the abutment
and wingwalls. |
